As for his new victory, Collopy took a slight lead early in the heads-up match and continued the battle for more than four hours before the final hand. .

Collopy kept pulling away from Kost and although it was a back and forth fight, he never let his opponent pass him in chips. Kost will even mention what a tough opponent Collopy is and say he’s tough to play against.

Collopy defeated Kost in the last 12 hands to advance to the tournament bracelet.
