The Global Poker Awards take place on Saturday. The fifth annual awards ceremony was held at the PokerGO Studio located at the ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. This awards ceremony honors the most important members of the industry, players, celebrities and everything related to poker.

The awards were presented primarily by Jeff Platt and Drea Renee. There were also several special guests who were in charge of presenting specific categories. Such was the case of Sarah Herring, from PokerOrg, as well as Seth Moeller, Brad Owen, Eric Danis from GPI and Tim Duckworth, from PokerGO, among others.

The categories included all the personalities that in one way or another influence the industry. Awards ranged from Best Player to Best Content Creator, including Best Tournament, Best Live Streaming Production, Best Twitter Personality, Best Event, and many more.

Four awards, in fact, had already been announced some time ago: Bin Weng had been the GPI Player of the Year and Kristen Foxen , the GPI Player of the Year for the fourth time in her career. In addition, Nick Pupillo won the GPI Mid-Major Player of the Year, while Isaac Haxton was crowned PGT Player of the Year for having topped the PGT 2023 ranking with four wins, 14 cashes and US$7,243,295 in cashes.
