14 Brazilian players qualify for EPT on Days 1C and 1D of Estrellas

One of the most popular tournaments in the EPT held two more qualifiers last Tuesday, with several Brazilian players making it to day two. After the trio qualified on Days 1A and 1B, 14 other players from the country took advantage of Days 1C and 1D of the EPT Barcelona Estrellas Poker Tour Main Event to secure their spot on Day 2.

Day 1C was the flight with the highest number of qualified Brazilians. The €1,100 buy-in event saw 961 participants and 144 qualified players. Of the 144, 12 were Brazilian. Day 1D saw 459 entries, with two more contestants from the country qualifying.

Counting the two qualifiers, Felipe Boianovski, who qualified on Day 1C, is the Brazilian who has collected the most chips. “lipe piv” finished with 391,000 in chips, the Brazilian’s largest stack to date. Rafael Mello also had a strong day with 285,000 in chips, while Lucas Rocha rounded out the top three with 260,000.

On Day 1D, The qualified Brazilian duo plays for the Samba Poker team. Daniel Camel ended up winning with 271,000 in his account. Another successful player is João Sydenstricker. “Sydens” enters day two of the Estrellas Poker Tour Main Event with 152,000 in chips.

Big names like Felipe Germano (259,000), Eduardo Silva (182,000), Guilherme Ramalho (169,000) and Alexandre Vargas (51,000) are some of the other qualifiers. There are four qualifying events remaining for the Estrellas Poker Tour Main Event. The prize pool will be announced when everything is over.
